Supporting connection, confidence, and emotional growth

Every child wants to connect, play, laugh, make friends, and feel understood. But for some, social moments can feel confusing or overwhelming. That’s where our ABA Social Skills program comes in.

Each session combines structure with fun to help children develop and strengthen communication, emotional regulation, and relationship skills that last well beyond the classroom.

Children learn at their own pace in a safe, supportive space where every success counts — whether it’s taking a turn, joining a group, or managing a tough feeling. Using evidence-based ABA strategies, our team helps each child grow more confident every day— at home, at school, and in the community.

Families often share that what they value most is how this program supports everyone, not just their child. It’s about more than what happens in session — it’s about helping families bring these skills into daily routines, relationships, and real-world moments.

Program Areas

We offer three areas of focus, depending on your child’s goals and needs.

Emotional Regulation

Big feelings are a part of growing up, and learning to handle them takes practice. Through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities, children explore emotions in themselves and others, recognize what triggers those feelings, and practice calming strategies like deep breathing or using sensory tools. We make learning playful, creative, and empowering, helping each child understand their emotions and feel proud of every small step forward.

Play Skills

Play is where social skills come to life. In these groups, children learn to join gym games, building projects, and interactive play to practice sharing, taking turns, and following group routines. When frustration or excitement shows up, they learn how to stay calm and connected. Over time, they discover that playing together isn’t just fun — it’s a skill they can master.

Social Communication

Friendships start with understanding. In this group, children build their ability to communicate clearly and read social cues like facial expressions, tone, and body language. Through stories, role-play, and fun group challenges, they practice how to join conversations, show empathy, and make kind, thoughtful choices. These are the building blocks of lasting friendships and confident communication.

What Progress Might Look Like

Every child’s journey is unique. These stories are examples of the kind of growth we often see, though progress looks different for every child.

  • After joining our Play group, one child who used to play quietly on their own began asking other kids, “Can I play with you?”. Building confidence, friendships, and joy in shared play.
  • After completing our Emotional Regulation group, another child surprised their family by using deep breaths and gentle hand squeezes to stay calm during a stressful moment at home. A small but powerful moment of independence.

We celebrate every win, from the first shared smile to the first self-calming moment.

What Parents Gain

We know that real growth happens when families are part of the journey. That’s why every program includes tools, updates, and opportunities to connect.

  • Parent Letters: Weekly updates with what your child learned and how to keep practicing at home.
  • Newsletters: Optional photo and activity highlights (for families who’ve provided consent) so you can see their joy in action.
  • Group Parent Meetings (10-week groups): Collaborative check-ins where families review progress, see examples from sessions, and learn how to use strategies in daily life. These meetings also create a sense of community. Parents often tell us this is where they finally meet people who truly “get it.”

Getting Started

Every family begins with a pre-screening form so our team can recommend the best-fit group based on your child’s strengths, comfort, and goals. Once submitted, one of our staff members will connect with you to walk through the next steps and scheduling options.
