Transition Boards

Individuals transition between many areas and activities throughout the day. A visual transition board may assist your child with the transition from one location to another. When presented with the visual card, the individual should then travel to the desired area and match the picture. Providing a clear visual of the transition expectation may reduce challenging behaviour and allow more independence for the individual.
