The Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) position exists to support the delivery of speech-language pathology services under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), in alignment with regulatory requirements set by CASLPO. This role expands service capacity by allowing us to provide additional support to families currently on the waitlist, while offering more flexible and affordable service options for those with limited funding or insurance coverage. Additionally, the CDA position helps address high-demand service times, enabling increased availability for evening and Saturday appointments.
