Support for Autistic Adults in Ontario
Growing into adulthood brings new opportunities and challenges and for autistic individuals, having the right support can make all the difference. That’s where Passport program comes in!
If you are an autistic adult, a caregiver of someone 18 or older, or a professional supporting adults with developmental disabilities, understanding DSO Passport Funding can open doors to a more independent, connected life.

What Is Passport Funding?
Passport is a provincial program that gives direct funding to adults (18+) with developmental disabilities, including autism. Managed through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO), the funding can be used for a variety of supports that promote independence, skill development, and inclusion in the community.
This program is about choice and flexibility. Rather than assigning services, it lets individuals and families decide what kinds of supports best suit their lives, whether that means learning to take the bus, joining a social group, building job skills, or hiring a support worker.
