Geneva Centre for Autism Sick, Cancellation, and Payment Policy
The health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. We encourage all families and staff to follow health and safety guidelines in order to reduce illness and service cancellation. These guidelines are in place in order to help reduce the passing of illness from children, youth, and adults to staff and vice versa. Therefore we ask that you please respect the following guidelines.
Covid Screening/Policy
Please cancel your service if your child, youth, or adult has:
- A fever of 38 degrees Celsius (100 Fahrenheit)
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Decrease or loss of taste or smell
- Muscle aches/joint pain
- Extreme tiredness
- Sore throat
- Runny or stuffy/congested nose
- Headache
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
In addition if your child, youth, or adult may need a doctor’s note to return to the center if he/she has any of the following:
- A sudden or unexplained rash
- Any other contagious condition (e.g. chicken pox, hand, foot and mouth, Fifth’s disease)
Possible Staff Shortage
Please note to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff, Geneva Centre is monitoring our employees closely and requesting they stay home should they exhibit any of the symptoms above. This may require us to cancel service due to staff shortages. You will be notified immediately should your services be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Geneva Centre for Autism Cancellation Policy
Cancelled Group Programs by GCA
A minimum of 3 registrants is required for a group-based program to run. GCA reserves the right to cancel a program if there are not enough registrants. If the program is cancelled because it does not meet the enrollment minimum, every effort will be made to accommodate participants in another program. If there is no other program that is satisfactory to you, you will receive a full refund.
Cancelled/Missed Sessions
Credits and/or refunds may be provided for sessions cancelled by GCA. Sessions cancelled/missed by the client will not be credited or refunded.
Geneva Centre for Autism Payment Policy
Program Registration Payment
For programs up to $5,000: Payment is due upon registration.
For programs over $5000, first months payment is due upon registration. The remaining balance can be paid in monthly installments.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept e-transfers, post-dated cheques, and credit card payments.
Withdrawals from Program
To withdraw from the program, 30 days' notice must be given. If notice is not received within 30 days prior to service end date, a penalty of one month will be charged.
Please allow 2 weeks for processing of refunds.
*We may consider exceptions to our refund policy on a case-by-case basis.
