Building Independence and Community Integration

Adult Day Support

Geneva Centre’s Adult Day Support Program supports Autistic adults (aged 18+) in the development of independent skills and community integration. Through the application and use of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based practices, our dedicated and caring staff support adults with social, home, safety, and vocational skills, and community inclusion.

With individual (1:1) or group-based (3:1) client-to-staff ratios, the Adult Day Support Program fosters personal growth and offers a combination of recreational and clinical programming in a modern, safe, and enjoyable environment.

Program benefits:

  • Clinical focus on skill promotion and the reduction of maladaptive behaviour
  • Offers opportunities for individual- and group-based teaching and goal achievement
  • Inclusive of mock teaching environments such as bedrooms, laundry rooms, and waiting areas to support community inclusion
  • Staffed by experienced professionals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst
  • Client support networks actively contribute to skill development and programming goals

Ideal participants are:

  • Aged 18 or older
  • Seeking to enhance independence and engagement skills
  • Needing 1 to 1 or 3 to 1 (clients:staff) support in a group environment
  • Available to participate two to three days per week
  • Able to arrange for independent transportation to and from the program
