Get Classroom Ready

Preparing for Your Child’s School Journey

ABA Classroom is a group-based skill-building program that offers children the opportunity to learn in a classroom-style environment. Our low staff-to-child ratios (1: 3) allow us to focus on individualized goals within the context of group instruction. We offer ABA Classrooms at three different levels: Level 1: Getting Ready for Group, Level 2: Learning Classroom Routines, and Level 3: Keeping up Classroom Routines. Program placement is based on the child’s needs and goals, done in consultation with families.

The program begins with assessment and goal development across various developmental domains, including language and communication, classroom routines, social and play, and self-regulation. Our daily schedule consists of various activities to foster hands-on learning while working towards individual and group goals. Each day includes circle time, structured and unstructured play and various group activities, including crafts, sensory play, music, science, etc.

Individualized supports are used to ensure an optimal learning environment and shared with other service providers to help support transitions and generalize skills learned in the ABA Classroom to receiving environments such as school.

SLP group consultation is available to all participants of the ABA Classroom.
