Planning for your child's success can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating new programs and therapies. At our Virtual Parent Support Group, you are not alone. We invite you to join a supportive and informative session focused on speech-language therapy, practical at-home strategies to support communication, and how these tools can benefit your child and family.
What Is Speech-Language Therapy?
Our session features a brief presentation by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), who will introduce the fundamentals of speech-language therapy and strategies for supporting communication at home. Learn what speech-language therapy is, how it supports children with communication challenges, and the positive impact it can have on social, academic, and everyday life skills.
Interactive Parent Support
In addition to the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other caregivers. The session is facilitated by a GCA Social Worker and Service Coordinator, who will guide the discussion and provide practical tools, strategies, and resources.
