An Inspiring Evening of Poetry and Purpose

On October 12, internationally acclaimed Bengali poet and performer Hemadri Roy held his solo recital “Kobitasnato Jibon” (Life Steeped in Poetry) in Toronto.
The event brought together more than 120 guests, including MPP Doly Begum and members of the media.
Through a mix of poetry and music, Hemadri created an atmosphere that encouraged reflection and connection. The evening also served a meaningful purpose, raising $2,400 in support of Geneva Centre for Autism. These funds will help us to support and empower individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
We are deeply grateful for Hemadri’s generosity and the thoughtfulness he brought to this event. His commitment to using his art to make a difference is something we truly value.
We are also excited to share that Hemadri plans to host another performance next year.
