Geneva Centre Partners with CIBC Foundation to Empower Autistic Job Seekers

We are proud to celebrate our partnership with the CIBC Foundation, supporting our Autism Workforce Development Hub, aimed at equipping autistic job seekers with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s workforce.

Through this collaborative program, we are bridging the gap between employer and employee by providing tailored training that fosters mutual success in the workplace. With the generous support of the CIBC Foundation, autistic individuals are securing meaningful employment, setting a strong precedent for inclusive hiring and workplace practices.

“At CIBC, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their ambitions,” said David Gillespie, Executive Vice President, Infrastructure, Architecture and Modernization at CIBC. “We’re proud to work with partners, such as the Geneva Centre for Autism and together, through the Autism Workforce Development Hub, we’re removing barriers and making it possible for everyone to achieve their career goals.”

CIBC has provided strategic insight, amplified our outreach, and championed the values of inclusion and accessibility. Their role has been pivotal in scaling the program and extending its reach into new communities and sectors.

"Thanks to CIBC’s generous support, our AWDH program has helped job seekers kick-start their careers with competitive pay, career exploration, and work placements. Through job sampling and tailored opportunities, our participants have been able to gain experience and build confidence in a supportive environment with our employer partners.”
- Shelley Brazier, Director, Strategic Initiatives & Programming.

Together, we are not only building careers, but a more inclusive future.

Thank you, CIBC Foundation, for being a champion of our Workforce Development Hub.
